PlantRoad was built with a simple rule: your plant data is yours, and it stays on your device. This policy explains exactly what that means.
PlantRoad does not collect any personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no names, no email addresses, and no location data required or requested. Everything you enter — plant species, watering schedules, light conditions, growth photos, and care notes — is created and stored entirely on your own device.
Because we don't collect any information, we don't use, analyze, profile, or sell anything. There is no advertising engine, no behavioral tracking, and no data pipeline of any kind. Every feature — reminders, plant profiles, the growth journal, the care library, and home-screen widgets — runs entirely on-device.
All app data is stored locally on your phone or tablet. PlantRoad does not operate cloud servers for user data, and nothing you enter is transmitted anywhere. Any device-level backup is handled by your operating system, not by us.
PlantRoad does not integrate third-party analytics platforms, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs of any kind. No information ever leaves your device to reach us or anyone else.
Because your plant data never leaves your device, there's no server to breach and no account to compromise. Your care history, photos, and schedules are protected by the same security your device already provides.
PlantRoad does not knowingly or unknowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since no data collection occurs at all, the app is compliant with COPPA by design.
You are always in full control of your data. There are no accounts to manage and no remote backups to worry about — deleting the app removes all associated data from your device. Nothing is retained anywhere else.
We may update this policy occasionally to reflect new features or clarify our practices. Any changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page.
